I was listening to some symphonies by Comrade Schostokavich today, and you know the first one is just a youthful work, then the 2nd and 3rd have correct revolutionary themes, but the 4th... I heard many dischords, sarcastic rather than triumphant fanfares, monotonous pounding...
Are these intellectuals falling into ideological error?
Comrade Schostokavich has committed a gross error, even though I cannot recall the movements of the 4th Symphony.
